She was Colombian, he is American; and both, without even imagining the pieces of the puzzle that God would put together for their future, were living a hell because of addiction, although thousands of kilometers away from each other. And even though the statistics are not encouraging regarding the capacity of an addict to recover, each of them went through a long and painful process on their own, and when there seemed to be no way out, they took advantage of the last life jacket that fell from the sky. To make a long story short, we tell them that they were healed, and thus they managed to be well for their meeting, the one they had not imagined and were not looking for. However, cupid did his thing, they met and quickly each one discovered in the other the necessary impulse to fulfill their "calling", to help and serve others and to be thankful every day for being who they were in marriage, until last January 2023 when Maria Elisa left for eternity, leaving Andrew the task of continuing with the mission they started together. Now she is light for La Maria from the 5th dimension and he faces the pain of her absence by devoting all his time to the missions, the reason that united them and will unite them forever.
